Jalen Brunson's wife Ali Brunson hilariously shares challenges of posting real-time photos on social media

The holiday season tends to be a whirlwind for many, and Ali Brunson, wife of New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson, can certainly relate. On Monday, Ali humorously admitted her struggles with posting timely holiday photos while sharing glimpses of their celebrations with Jalen.

Ali posted a photo dump on Instagram titled “photos from the holidays,” humorously shared two weeks into the new year.

She also took to her Instagram Stories to explain her delayed posting habits, writing:

“The struggle to post photos right when they happen … photo dumps 🤝 me."

Jalen and Ali Brunson’s relationship dates back to their high school days in Lincolnshire, Illinois. They stayed together even while attending colleges in different states — Ali at the University of Illinois and Jalen at Villanova University, where he played Division I basketball.

After dating for a decade, the couple tied the knot in 2023, with Jalen proposing at their high school gym at Adlai E. Stevenson High School. Last July, they welcomed their daughter, Jordyn James Brunson.

As 2024 began, Brunson and the New York Knicks faced challenges on the court, starting the year with a 3-5 record. The team has suffered losses to the OKC Thunder (twice), Chicago Bulls, Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons.

Ali Brunson has also taken an active role in her husband’s All-Star campaign. She reshared a post from the Knicks’ official Instagram page on her Story, encouraging fans to vote for Brunson.

Ali urged her followers to support him daily, captioning the post with:

"Vote everyday," she wrote in the caption.

Currently, Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball leads all Eastern Conference guards in All-Star fan voting, with 1,490,227 votes. Ball is followed by Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell (1,181,310 votes) and Milwaukee’s Damian Lillard (1,019,739 votes).

Brunson is fourth with 934,860 votes, followed by Atlanta’s Trae Young (543,839 votes).

The final update on fan voting will be released Thursday. TNT will announce the NBA All-Star Game starters on Jan. 23 and the reserves on Jan. 30.
