Jalen Brunson struggled in Game 1 but the New York Knicks showed off their team chemistry and pulled out a gritty team win against the Philadelphia 76ers. Brunson's legend is growing in New York as he was praised by fans despite the inefficient shooting performance.
The All-Star gave credit to his teammates, including Miles 'Deuce' McBride after the game. After the game on the court, Brunson was asked how the Knicks were able to close out the game. He had a simple answer.
"Deuce McBride," Brunson said.

McBride went off in Game 1 with 21 points. He made 7-of-12, including 5-of-7 from 3-point range. It was only the second time McBride scored 20 points this month. The praise for McBride was felt around the Knicks fandom.
Many took to social media to react to the shoutout from Jalen Brunson. This fan was moved to an emotional place when seeing the interview.
Many other Knick fans were also pumped after the McBride performance. Many admired his passion.

Other fans took the opportunity to hype up Miles McBride, while some gave shoutouts to other Knicks players like Isaiah Hartenstein and Josh Hart for their efforts in the win.

Knicks fans will hope the reserve players show up like that again in Game 2. They will also expect a better shooting performance from Brunson in the second game of the series.
Josh Hart trolls Jalen Brunson after poor shooting in Game 1
The Knicks won Game 1, however, Jalen Brunson struggled from the floor, going 8-of-26 and ended with 22 points and was 1-of-6 from 3-point range. Brunson’s teammate Josh Hart carried the Knicks down the stretch hitting clutch shots and ended with 22 points.
After the game Hart had a short response when reading Brunson’s stat line.
“Damn,” Hart said.
The response drew a laugh from the gathered media. Hart and Brunson as they go for the 2-0 series lead on Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
