This year's No. 1 pick Zaccharie Risacher has been a regular starter for the Atlanta Hawks, but he's had some ups and downs as a rookie. The Hawks were at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday for a quarterfinal matchup against the New York Knicks in the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup.

But how did Risacher perform against the Knicks tonight? The 19-year-old forward finished with just two points, one rebound, two assists and a block in 17 minutes. He started the game for the Hawks but didn't get a lot of minutes in the second half.

Risacher was limited to just six minutes in the final two quarters, with DeAndre Hunter playing well. Hunter finished the game with 24 points off the bench as the Hawks shocked the Knicks at MSG 108-100. They advance to the semifinals in Las Vegas and will face the Milwaukee Bucks.

Here are Zaccharie Risacher's stats for the game:

How did Zaccharie Risacher perform against the New York Knicks?

Zaccharie Risacher was in the starting lineup with Trae Young, Dyson Daniels, Jalen Johnson and Clint Capela. Young was listed as probable, while Johnson was tagged as questionable before the game, but they were cleared to give the Atlanta Hawks a chance against the New York Knicks.

In the first quarter, the French prospect went scoreless and was subbed out midway through the period with the Hawks down 13-8. DeAndre Hunter, who has been the team's sixth man for the season, came in and went to work.

Risacher began the second quarter and finally scored his first basket of the game at the 9:16 mark. It was a dunk that trimmed the Knicks' lead to 31-28. However, it was his only basket so far as he finished with just two points at halftime.

Zaccharie Risacher saw limited playing time in the second half as coach Quin Snyder rode the hot hand in DeAndre Hunter. He was scorching off the bench, leading the Atlanta Hawks in scoring with 24 points.

The Hawks had a 27-8 run in the third quarter to turn a 10-point deficit into an 11-point lead. They held on in the final period, especially after Karl-Anthony Towns committed his fifth foul early. Towns was killing Atlanta with his rebounding, while Jalen Brunson couldn't get it going.

Dyson Daniels did a wonderful job against Brunson, who was limited to just 14 points on 5-for-15 shooting. Trae Young shushed the Knicks crowd once again with 22 points and 11 assists, while Jalen Johnson added 21 points and 15 rebounds.

Atlanta is now scheduled to face the Milwaukee Bucks in Las Vegas in the semifinals of the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup on Oct. 15. The final of the tournament will be held two days later.
