Wendell Carter Jr. is an American center/power forward currently signed with the Orlando Magic in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before the NBA, Carter Jr. played college basketball for Duke, where he was named on the ACC All-Freshman Teams in 2018. He averaged 13.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game in college.
After forgoing his final three seasons of collegiate eligibility, Carter Jr. was picked by the Chicago Bulls seventh overall in 2018. After three seasons in Chicago, he was traded to the Orlando Magic, where he has established himself as one of the main players on the roster. In the 2022/23 season, Carter Jr. averaged a career-high in points (15.2), along with 8.7 rpg.
