In his four years of varsity, Cijntje posted a 2.32 ERA and recorded 39 hits while striking out 166 batters. But this year, Cijntje almost doubled his innings from 50 to 90.2 and posted a 3.67 ERA and struck out 113 batters in sixteen starts.
