Blake Burke and the Tennessee Volunteers made history on Monday, winning the program's maiden College World Series title after beating the Texas A&M Aggies in Game 3 of the CWS finals. Wishes for the hitter poured in on social media, and Burke's girlfriend, Maddie France, shared a touching note for the Vols star.

On Instagram, France uploaded pictures and videos of herself and Burke from the CWS finals in Ohama, including a photo of the couple celebrating after winning the title. She captioned the post with a heartfelt message:

"National!!!! champions!!!! Couldn’t be more proud of you @blakeburke_, the hardest worker I know. The best memories made this week watching this team!!! Cheering you on the past three years has been my most favorite thing !!!! GO VOLS NATTY CHAMPS"

As per France's Instagram, she made her relationship with Burke official on September 4, 2022. The couple met at the University of Tennessee and often upload pictures of themselves together on social media during special occasions.

Burke, who completed his third year with the Vols, spoke to the media after Game 3 of the CWS finals about being part of the historic Tennessee team.

"I mean, it means a lot. Ever since I committed to this school, like even thought of going to any school, I thought I wanted to win a national championship.
"And it's even more special that I get to bring it, or we can bring it to Tennessee. These fans are great and they show up all week." Burke said.
