With the College World Series in the rearview mirror, it's full-scale transfer portal season. Many of the nation's top players in the transfer market have already chosen their destinations. But there are plenty more who have yet to decide.

Here are the top 10 players available in the portal.

Gavin Kash is in the portal, and the former Texas Tech star brings a plus power game with him to a new destination.

#10, Travis Smith, Kentucky, P

Smith hasn't had a ton of productivity for Kentucky, but scouts love his impressive stuff and high upside. Smith had a 4.84 ERA in 2023 and looked to be a likely star. But a 6.38 ERA this year saw him removed from the starting rotation. With a fresh start, Smith could shine.

#9, Austin Williamson, South Carolina, P

Williamson, like Smith, showed a ton of promise in 2023 but didn't get much time in 2024. He was 1-0 with a 3.05 ERA in 2023, holding opposing hitters to a .205 average. But he worked just 2.1 innings in 2024. Williamson could shine as a reliever or starter at his next school.

#8, Bobby Boser, South Florida, IF

A solid infielder, Boser hit .299 with a dozen homers for the Bulls in 2024. He's an automatic top-of-the-order hitter for many Power Five teams. Boser battled injuries in 2024, but when healthy, he's one of the best hitters in this transfer class.

#7, Easton Winfield, UL-Monroe, OF

Winfield hit .332 with 10 homers and also stole 18 bases for the Warhawks. He's a legitimate five-tool player for whichever program is fortunate enough to snag him. Winfield hails from Alvin, Texas, the hometown of baseball legend Nolan Ryan. There are going to be several programs with new coaches in that area who might look to nab Winfield.

#6, Myles Patton, Long Beach State, P

A poised lefty, Patton was 4-3 with a 3.26 ERA in 11 starts in 2024. He held opposing hitters to a .216 average and fanned 85 batters in 66.1 innings. Patton projects as a top-of-the-rotation starter for a Power 5 program. He is from Long Beach, so it'll be interesting to see if he heads far away from home or sticks close.

#5, Henry Kaczmar, Ohio State, IF

A .308 hitter across two seasons at Ohio State, the 5-foot-10 Kaczmar will be a solid hitting addition for a lucky program. He has 14 homers and 85 RBIs in 111 career games. The hiring of Campbell coach Justin Haire has led to a mass exodus from the OSU program, and Kaczmar is part of that movement.

#4, Brady Neal, LSU, C

One of the nation's top catchers in the 2022 recruiting class, Neal will be a significant addition. Neal battled injuries as a freshman but hit .276 with nine homers in 2024. He's an excellent defensive catcher and projects to a middle-of-the-lineup bat.

#3, Gavin Kash, Texas Tech, 1B

Kash can mash. The tall TTU standout ripped 41 homers over the past two seasons. He's a .314 hitter with 135 RBIs in 120 games. Kash played first but can play third base as well. He's a Day One difference maker for many P5 teams. Kash is one of the best players in the portal.

#2, Zach Root, East Carolina, P

This lefty was developing into a potential ace for ECU. In 2024, he was 5-2 with a 3.82 ERA. Root held opposing hitters to a .231 average and struck out 69 hitters in 63.2 innings. He's a No. 2 starter for even a great college team and could be an ace for others.

#1, Gavin Kilen, Louisville, SS

Kilen had a massive season for Louisville, hitting .339 with 10 homers. Not only is Kilen a solid hitter with a nice power streak, but he doesn't strike out – just 37 career whiffs in 375 at-bats. A solid up-the-middle defender, Kilen is probably the most sought-after player in the portal.
