Aneesah Morrow had a remarkable high school basketball career at Simeon High School. She led Simeon to a 35-2 record and its first-ever Class 3A state championship in 2020. Morrow averaged 28.4 points, 14.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and three steals per game during her final season. Morrow received All-State First Team recognitions from the Associated Press, Champaign News-Gazette, and the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association. Morrow scored over 1,000 points during her junior year. MaxPreps ranked her No. 1 in the state of Illinois. She also appeared at No. 20 in the nation. Some of her notable performances include 41 points against Maine South, 38 points and 25 rebounds versus Morgan Park, and a dominant 32-point, 15-rebound, five-steal, five-block game against Butler. She also led Simeon to a Public League championship in 2018.
