Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink has firmly established herself as a dangerous two-way low-post player in the WNBA. The 2021 NCAA champion is notable for being able to score in various ways for her team. The youngster has garnered praise for 'the basketball IQ' of the game. Cameron Brink College Basketball Career

Cameron Brink college basketball career was remarkable. She started her collegiate basketball career with the Stanford Cardinals in the 2020/21 season. During her freshman season, she led her team to become the National Champions. For this, she became a member of the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team in 2021.

Cameron Brink started her sophomore 2021/22 season as a co-leader alongside Haley Jones (now representing the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA). Under her leadership, her team won the Pac-12 Conference Tournament. Furthermore, she also led her team to the Final Four of the 2022 NCAA Tournament. At the end of the season, she earned Pac-12 Player of the Year and Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2022.

For her junior 2022/23 season, Cameron Brink is notable for achieving the WBCA Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2023. Besides, she was also recognized as the top defensive player in the United States. She is currently in her senior 2023/24 season contributing her best efforts towards her team.

Cameron Brink averaged 14.0 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 3.0 blocks per game after 135 games in four seasons. She shot 52.7% from the field, including 29.9% from the three-point range.

Cameron Brink High School Basketball Career

Cameron Brink attended Southridge High school in Beaverton, Oregon, United States. There she played varsity basketball for the Southridge Skyhawks, the school team. During her freshman year, she helped the team to become the Class 6A state champions. She repeated the same in her sophomore year, leading to her being honored as the Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year. In her junior year, she again led her team to the finals but was unable to win the championship.

For her senior year, Cameron Brink joined Mountainside High School in Beaverton, Oregon, United States. There she played varsity basketball for the school team, Mountainside Mavericks. She was also selected to play in the MacDonald’s All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic, both of which were ultimately canceled due to COVID-19.
