Chloe Kitts is a forwad for the South Carolina Gamecocks basketball team, and a junior, as of the 2024-2025 season. In the third grade, she relocated to Oviedo, Florida, after living in Puyallup, Washington. She played basketball for The Master's Academy in Oviedo during her freshman year of high school. Kitts moved to Daytona Beach, Florida's DME Academy for her sophomore campaign. She led the team to its first GEICO Nationals appearance as a junior, averaging 18.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. After the season, Kitts planned to transfer to Orlando, Florida's Faith Christian Academy. She turned down offers from Louisville, Duke, NC State, and Arizona in favor of South Carolina, which ESPN ranked as a five-star recruit. Prospects Nation ranked her fourth in the country.
Kitts made her South Carolina debut on December 18, 2022, scoring 10 points and pulling down seven rebounds in an 87–23 victory over Charleston Southern. As a freshman, she averaged 1.6 points per game and saw little playing time. Kitts made her debut as a starter in her sophomore year (2023-2024). During the season, she averaged 5.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 9.0 points on 53% field goals. In just seventeen minutes during the championship game against Iowa, Kitts recorded a double-double. In Argentina, Kitts and the United States took home a gold medal from the 2022 FIBA Under-18 Women's Americas Championship. She scored 7.7 points, pulled down 5.8 rebounds, and stole two rebounds on average. With an average of 10.7 points and eight rebounds per game at the 2023 FIBA Under-19 Women's Basketball World Cup in Spain, Kitts assisted the United States in winning another gold medal. She scored 15 points and collected nine rebounds in the final, which they won 69–66 over Spain.
