The men's basketball team of Florida State University (FSU) is known as the Florida State Seminoles, and they play in both the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and NCAA DI. Over the course of the program's 77 seasons, the Seminoles have won four conference tournament titles, including two ACC titles, and five regular season conference titles.

The Florida State Seminoles have participated in 18 NCAA tournaments, making it to the Sweet 16 seven times, the Elite Eight three times, and the Final Four once in 1972, where they advanced to the championship game and took second place. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida State Legislature "declared" Florida State the 2020 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Champions, despite the fact that the team finished fourth in the AP Poll and fifth in the Coaches Poll. This occurred following the 2020 NCAA Tournament's cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and has no merit with the NCAA.
