Iowa State Cyclones is the men's basketball team of Iowa State University. It competes in NCAA Division I basketball. The team plays in the Big 12 Conference, located in Ames, Iowa. The Cyclones made 23 appearances in the NCAA Tournament and won the National Invitation Tournament in 1944. JR Blount, Kyle Green, Nate Schmidt, Erik Crawford, and Diante Garrett are appointed as the assistant coaches of the Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball team as of January 2025.
