Born on January 2, 2001, Kerr Kriisa is an Estonian collegiate basketball guard for the SEC's Kentucky Wildcats, as of 2024. He formerly was a member of the West Virginia Mountaineers and Arizona Wildcats. Kriisa is from Tartu and has played for the Estonian junior and senior national teams. He was vital to Estonia’s maiden win over Lithuania in 2020.

Since he was 12, Kriisa has been a member of his hometown club BC Tartu's youth teams. In the 2016–17 KML season, at the age of 15, he made his debut with Tartu Ülikool. He joined Brose Bamberg in September 2017 and began playing for the Baunach Young Pikes, their affiliate team. He returned to Estonia for treatment after his time in Germany was interrupted by periostitis.

He signed with Žalgiris in August 2018. For the Next Generation Tournament in 2018–19, Kriisa averaged 17.3 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.7 rebounds in 7 games.

Kerr Kriisa's father is Valmo Kriisa, a former basketball player. Valmo played both shooting guard and point guard. In 1990, Kriisa began his senior club career with the "KK Tartu" team (Tartu Ülikool/Rock). He then transferred to "Nybit" following the 1996–1997 season. He played for Södertälje BBK in Sweden during the 2000–01 season.

Kriisa went back to Estonia, where she played for "BC Kalev" for two seasons and took home the 2002 and 2003 Estonian Championship titles. Kriisa helped BC Rakvere Tarvas reach the Estonian league finals for the first time during the 2009–10 season. Kriisa averaged 9.9 points and 5.1 assists per game in her junior year. Kriisa declared that he would re-enter the transfer portal after the 2022–2023 season. On April 5, 2023, Kriisa declared his intention to transfer to West Virginia.

Kriisa first declared on June 23, 2023, that he was re-entering the transfer portal. Kriisa removed his name from the portal two days later and declared he would remain in West Virginia following the appointment of Josh Eilert, the top Huggins assistant, as interim head coach for the 2023–24 campaign.

Kriisa returned to start the remaining games for the Mountaineers in 2023–24 after receiving an NCAA suspension for the first nine games. Kriisa led the team in three-point shooting and averaged 11.0 points and 4.7 assists.
