Madison Booker is a collegiate basketball player playing for the Texas Longhorns in 2025. She is from Ridgeland, Mississippi, and attended Germantown High School. In the Class 6A state tournament as a senior, she guided her team to its first state title. In addition to winning Mississippi Miss Basketball for Class 6A and Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year, Booker was chosen to participate in the McDonald's All-American Girls Game. She earned offers from Duke and Tennessee but committed to play collegiate basketball for Texas. She was rated a five-star recruit by ESPN.
Madison Booker played and started in 37 games for the Longhorns in the 2023-24 season. In Big 12, she scored 611 points, 184 rebounds, and 184 assists while shooting 48 percent from the field and 91.6 percent from the free-throw line. Booker scored 20 or more points in 14 games and double figures in 31 games. Some of the honors she received include the WBCA All-American, Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year, Big 12 Player of the Year, becoming the first freshman to ever win that honor, the Big 12 Freshman of the Year, All-Big 12 First Team unanimous selection, Big 12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player, Associated Press Second Team All-American. As a part of the national team, she helped the United States win a gold medal at the 2021 FIBA Under-16 Women's Americas Championship in Mexico. Booker was a part of the team that won a gold medal at the 2022 FIBA Under-17 Women's World Cup in Hungary. At the 2023 FIBA Under-19 Women's World Cup in Spain, Booker also secured another gold medal.
