Mark Sears is an American point guard who withdrew from the 2024 NBA Draft to play his final season of college basketball with the Alabama Crimson Tide. The All-American point guard who returned to Tuscaloosa to play his final season of eligibility was recognized as one of the top 10 point guards in the country last year. Standing at 6 feet 1 inches tall, Sears was regarded as one of the shortest prospects in the 2024 Draft. Last season, he became a dynamic shooter for the Tide and averaged 21.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in every game.

Sears began his collegiate basketball journey with the Ohio Bobcats where he started in all 35 games during the 2021-22 season. He made his move to Alabama back in 2022 and led them to their first-ever Final Four appearance during the 2023 season. Following his return, Alabama’s prospect of winning the national championship in 2024 looks much stronger. Last season, Sears set the Alabama record for most points scored in a single season with 797 points.
