Te-Hina Paopao: A Brief Biography

Te-Hina Paopao is an American guard who concluded her graduate year with the South Carolina Gamecocks in the 2024-25 season. She began her college career with the Oregon Ducks in 2020 and played three seasons with the Ducks, averaging 12.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.8 rebounds, as per ESPN. She joined the Gamecocks in 2023 with two years of eligibility remaining. She won the NCAA championship and helped the Gamecocks achieve an undefeated record of 38-0 in the 2023-24 season.
Before the start of her college career, Paopao attended La Jolla Country Day School. She was a five-star recruit and was ranked as the 11th best overall player in the 2020 class by espnW. The 2020 McDonald's All-American and Jordan Brand Classic won the California Gatorade Player of the Year award and MaxPreps California State Player of the Year honor in 2020.
