American college basketball player Moussa Cisse is a Center for the Memphis Tigers, a team which competes in the American Athletic Conference. He is in her senior year as of February 2025. As a freshman at Memphis in the 2020-21 season, Cisse played in 28 games and was on the court for 18.5 minutes per game. That year, he managed to bag a spot in the AAC All-Freshman Team and his name was enlisted in the 2021 American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year. He was also named AAC Freshman of the Week thrice. Ahead of the season, he was also on the watchlist for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award.

As a sophomore at Oklahoma State, Cisse attended 29 games and started 26 games. He averaged 20 minutes and recorded 7.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game. He was also named the 2022 Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and to the All-Big 12 Defensive Team in the 2021-22 season. Entering his junior season at Oklahoma, he appeared in 32 games and started 20 of them. Once again, Cisse managed to be named to the Big 12 All-Defensive Team for the second consecutive year. As a senior at Ole Miss, he played in 26 games and made 17 starts.

Moussa Cisse is from Conakry, Guinea (West Africa) according to his roster profile on the Memphis Tigers University website. He also spent his childhood in Guinea before he relocated to the United States in 2015.

Cisse attended Lausanne High School, the aforementioned university website reports. He was one of the key players to lead his team to the Division II-A state trophy in the 2019-2020 season. He was also named the Most Valuable Player after he recorded 15 points, 10 rebounds and nine blocks against First Assembly Christian School in the 54-44 final game. He also previously played for Middle Village in the summer of 2019 and Christ the King Regional. He also helped the Christ the King Regional to the NYSFSSA state final game in 2019.
