
Ashton Jeanty hails from Jacksonville, Florida, United States, and is an American running back who played for the Boise State Broncos from 2022 to 2024. The runner-up of the 2024 Heisman Trophy started his high school football career in Naples, Italy, before returning to the United States. After returning to the United States, Ashton Jeanty continued his high school career at Lone Star High School and became a four-star recruit, according to 247Sports.
Ashton Jeanty joined the Boise State Broncos in 2022 after graduating high school and is in his third year with the Broncos in 2024. Throughout his career, Ashton Jeanty became a two-time MW Offensive Player of the Year in 2023 and 2024. He competed in the 2022 Frisco Bowl and the 2023 Peach Bowl with the team. More recently, he became the recipient of the Mountain West Conference Football Championship Game Offensive MVP Award in 2024. Ashton Jeanty enrolled at Boise State University in 2022 and played for the Boise State Broncos football team. As a freshman for the Broncos, he played all 14 games and made two starts. He averaged 5.3 yards per carry and surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark twice. In his sophomore year, he had an average of 6.12 yards per carry which was the 9th in the history of the program in a single season.
