Ashton Jeanty is an American running back who played collegiate football for the Boise State Broncos. He began his football career at Naples Middle/High School in Naples, Italy. He returned to the United States and attended Lone Star High School. He was declared as a four-star recruit in his class by 247 Sports. Jeanty was ranked as the No. 27 player in the nation as per 247Sports, as per his college roster. After the end of his high school football career, Ashton Jeanty started his college football career with the Boise State Broncos in 2022.
Ashton Jeanty was honored with the 2024 Maxwell Award and the 2024 Doak Walker Award. Throughout his college football career, he has achieved 4,769 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns in 750 attempts in 40 games, as per his college roster. His football skills have made him a two-time MW Offensive Player of the Year in 2023 and 2024. He has also been declared the Mountain West Championship Game Offensive MVP in 2024. He was also one of the finalists for the Heisman Trophy in 2024. In January 2025, Jeanty decided to forego his senior year and declare himself for the 2025 NFL Draft according to the NY Post.
