Billy Napier has been the head coach for the Florida Gators since December 2022. He was a quarterback for the Furman Paladins from 1999-2002. Napier began his coaching career as a graduate assistant for Clemson in 2003. After a few years of service as positional coach, he was promoted to Clemson's offensive coordinator in 2009. He later became an offensive assistant to Nick Saban at Alabama from 2011 to 2014 where he won two national championships.
