Drew Allar is a college footballer who plays as a quarterback for the Penn State Nittany Lions. He was born on March 8, 2004, in Medina, Ohio, USA. He is majoring in recreation, park, and tourism management, and is in his junior year at Penn State University. Allar attended Medina High School, where he was the team’s starting quarterback.

During his sophomore season, he passed for 1,802 yards and 23 touchdowns. As a junior, he threw for 2,962 yards and 26 touchdowns while rushing for two touchdowns. In his senior season, Drew Allar completed 60 percent of his 511 pass attempts for 4,444 yards and 48 touchdowns, setting Medina County records for yards and touchdowns. He also rushed for 406 yards and nine touchdowns. He was rated a five-star recruit by 247Sports and On3 and then went on to attend Penn State University.

In his first season, he made 10 appearances and completed 35 passes for 344 yards and four touchdowns. Allar also made 18 rushing attempts for 52 yards.

In his sophomore year, he started as the team’s primary quarterback in all 13 matches of the season. He attempted 389 passes and completed 233 of them for 2,631 yards, 25 touchdowns, and two interceptions. Allar finished the season with 170 rushing yards with four scores. He earned an honorable mention All-Big Ten honors from the coaches and media.
