Jayden Maiava is an American footballer who plays for the USC Trojans as a quarterback. Standing at 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) and weighing 220 lb (100 kg), Maiava wears the jersey number 14 for the Trojans.

Before switching to USC in 2024, Maiava had begun his graduation at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). There he was majoring in Criminal Justice. He was a three-star recruit at the UNLV. He redshirted his freshman year at the University and then competed in all fourteen matches later. He completed 224 passes for 3,085 yards and 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

As of 2024, Maiava is a Communication major at the University of Southern California.

His parents are Jerushua Maiava-Pratt and William Maiava-Pratt. Maiava has seven siblings namely Heaven, Siah, Jacob, Justice, Henna, Hyena, and Jaestin.

Jayden Maiava hails from the town of Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended the Kaimuki High School before switching to the state of Nevada. There, he attended Liberty High School, Sierra Vista High School, and then the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During his time at UNLV, Maiava was honored as the 2023 Mountain West Freshman of the Year and the 2023 College Football Network Freshman Quarterback of the Year.

He was also included in the 2023 All-Mountain West Second Team and the 2023 Phil Steele All-Mountain West Second Team. For his sophomore year, he transferred to the University of South California. On January 1, 2024, he entered the transfer portal, and a week later, it was announced that Maiava had committed to the University of Georgia for Georgia Bulldogs. However, just the next day, he was committed to the University of South California.
