Kenneth Grant is a defensive tackle who has been plying his trade with the Michigan Wolverines over the past two years. Grant started playing high school football at Merrillville High School where he was a two-way player for the Pirates. He was a four-year starter at Merrillville and led the program to its best four-year stretch with a 40-9 record. Coming out of Merrillville as the No.11 player in the 2022 recruiting class, Grant embarked on his collegiate football journey with Michigan over offers from Akron, Arizona State, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Ohio State, Nebraska, Indiana, and Purdue. In his freshman season with the Wolverines, Grant appeared in 14 games and notched only eight tackles finishing the season behind Mazi Smith and Kris Jenkins. Last season as a sophomore, Grant saw action in 15 games racking up 29 tackles with 3.5 sacks, six quarterback hurries, five pass breakups, and one interception. He stepped into a bigger role along the defensive interior in his sophomore campaign winning the national title in 2023. The 6-foot-3, 339-pound defensive tackle has lived up to every expectation during his first two years with the Wolverines.
