The Miami Hurricanes football team competes in the NCAA Atlantic Coast Conference. The new format adopted by the conference since 2023, resulted in Miami having three permanent conference opponents. Boston College, Florida State, and Louisville are the teams the Hurricanes will face for the next four years in their conference.
The current head coach of the Miami Hurricanes, Mario Cristobal, has coached the team for the last two years. In 2024, the head coach, Mario Cristobal, will serve his third year with Miami. Under Mario, Miami would be looking to make a better impact in the conference this year after a disappointing 9th finish last season. They had an overall 7-6 record and 3-5 in the conference in 2023.

August 31 - Florida Gators
The Miami Hurricanes will kick off their 2024 season with an away game against their rivals. The Florida Gators will host their first game of the season in Gainesville against the Hurricanes. This game can be really important for Miami, to have a strong start to the season and boost confidence by beating their rivals.
October 19 - Louisville Cardinals
A mid-season game with the conference #2 team from last season is bound to be challenging for the Hurricanes. An in-form Louisville Cardinals team will be looking to dominate while hosting the Miami Hurricanes at their home on October 19.
October 26 - Florida State
Only one week after facing Louisville, Miami will welcome last season’s conference champions, Florida State, at the Hard Rock Stadium. This is anticipated to be the toughest game for the Hurricanes.
