“Don’t sit right with me”: Fans cast doubts over Coach Prime & Shedeur Sanders making up with Kansas’ Dean Miller

D͏uring Tues͏day's p͏ostgame news conference, Colorado coach Deion Sanders rev͏ealed ͏Kansa͏s Jayhawks coac͏h Lance Leipold an͏d ͏player Dean Mil͏ler had reached out͏ ͏for Shedeur Sanders, stating they wanted to talk about what occurred in Saturday's game. The incident has left͏ many fans questioning the sincer͏ity of the apology and the decision to reconc͏i͏l͏e.

With about three minutes remaining of the second quarter, Colorado trailed Kansas 20-7. Shedeur Sanders, attempting a deep pass from his own 40-yard line, was hit low by Miller immediately after releasing the ball. The collision caused Sanders to somersault and land on his head. Although no penalty was called, the hit drew widespread criticism from viewers, who deemed it reckless and dangerous.

Miller reached out via FaceTime to both "Coach Prime" and Shedeur Sanders to apologize. According to Sanders, the matter was resolved amicably. However, fans have expressed doubt and frustration over how the situation unfolded.

"S**t don’t sit right with me, but I respect coach prime but it’s still f*** that n***a dean miller" said one fan bluntly.
"Everytime we gotta be the bigger people ,this n***a knew exactly what he was doing ,he saw the padded knee and went for it ,his coach came on here and bragged about the hit and we supposed to believe it was a mistake ??, come on now" added another.
"It’s gon take me a while to accept this. He almost ended shedeur’s career. If he wants to make amends, he should jump in the portal asap and join the #buffs" one fan tweeted.
"First the CSU player, now this. Might as well invite cheap-shot players and then give them a platform afterward," another fan commented.

Shedeur Sanders shoved referee amid heated exchange in Colorado-Kansas game

In Saturday's game between the Colorado Buffaloes and the Kansas Jayhawks, tensions flared in the third quarter following a physical play involving Shedeur Sanders. With approximately six minutes remaining in the quarter, Sanders, attempting to make a play, was pushed to the ground by three Kansas players.

The aggressive play sparked a heated confrontation between players from both teams. As they exchanged words and engaged physically, referee Kevin Mar stepped in to de-escalate the situation. During the commotion, Sanders shoved Mar from behind.

Despite the action, no penalty was issued to Sanders during the game and he has not received any subsequent match bans for the incident. At the time of the altercation, Kansas was leading 30–21 and ultimately secured a 37–21 victory, improving its record to 5–6.
