A fascination for literature and a childhood desire to be a writer led Dibyendu Mondal to Sportskeeda, where he covers Gaming Tech. Armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature (and currently working on his Master’s), he researches new trends and analyzes people’s takes on them in his coverage of gaming and tech news.

Dibyendu follows esports with keen interest, appreciating flashy plays and individual prowess of pros from different regions. He counts SkRossi and BeastBoyShub as particularly inspirational figures for their roles in reviving India’s esports scene after the Forsaken cheating incident.

His interest in gaming was sparked by such classics as RoadRash and GTA Vice City. As an otaku, the idea of dropping into the MMORPG world of Genshin Impact is most appealing to him.

Outside gaming, Dibyendu enjoys reading and anime when not preparing for his CAT exam.
