Travis Hunter, the two-way star from Colorado, was handed the Heisman Trophy on Saturday.
Hunter's girlfriend, Leanna Lenee attended the ceremony and posted a picture of Travis with the trophy on her Instagram story.
"THEY MAD MAKE THEM MADDERRRRERR!!!!"
This message was seemingly directed at critics who felt Hunter shouldn't have won the award amid stern competition from Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty.
Hunter received 552 first-place votes and 2,231 points, narrowly edging out Jeanty, who had 309 first-place votes and 2,017 points. Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel was third and Miami quarterback Cam Ward finised fourth (6, 229).
