Pat Bryant is a wide receiver for the Illinois Fighting Illini and is a senior for the 2024 season. Pat Bryant joined the Fighting Illini as a freshman in 2021. As a true freshman, he started in more than three games as a wide receiver, making him only the 14th player in Illini history to do so. As a sophomore, he played 12 games, starting in 11, recording multiple receptions in nine of the 12 games he played. The same year, Bryant ranked 16th in the Big Ten, recording 13.3 yards per reception. As a junior in 2023, he started in nine out of 12 games and recorded at least one reception in each of those games.

During the 2024 season, Bryant became the only player in the nation to score three game-winning touchdowns during overtime. Bryant recorded 13 career receiving touchdowns. He also set records at the Memorial Stadium with 6 receiving touchdowns in a single season. Pat Bryant led in run-blocking grade with 81.1 and was ranked the No. 3 wide receiver in the nation. His performances earned him multiple recognitions such as Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and Senior Bowl Player of the Week. He also made it to the Phil Steele Preseason All-Big Ten Third Team and was on the 2025 Senior Bowl Watch List.
