Quinn Ewers is a college football quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, as of January 2025. Ewers previously played for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2021 but transferred back to high school. Quinn Ewers started playing football at Carroll High School where 247Sports, Rivals, and On3 ranked him number 1, nationally, after he played 22 games, amassing 6,445 passing yards, 73 passing touchdowns, and eight interceptions. He also recorded 701 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns on 115 carries.

Quinn Ewers enrolled with the Longhorns in 2022 and redshirted his freshman year. With the Longhorns, Quinn Ewers participated in the Alamo Bowl in 2022, recording 31-47 and crossing 369 yards as a passer despite the Washington Huskies defeating his team with a score of 20-27. The same year, he also earned the Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year.

Quinn Ewers has earned numerous achievements in 2024, including being named a semifinalist for the Walter Camp Player of the Year, Maxwell Award, and Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award. He was also a Top-10 finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and received several "Star of the Week" honors, including from the Manning Award and the Davey O'Brien Great 8. Ewers was recognized as the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week and earned several Player of the Week awards, including winning the Reese's Senior Bowl and Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award. He was also placed on multiple preseason watch lists.
