Before joining Syracuse, Fran Brown served as the defensive backs coach at the Georgia Bulldogs football program from 2022 to 2023. Prior to his time at Georgia, he held the position of defensive back coach for the Rutgers football program from 2020 to 2021.
Fran Brown also has a football playing career. He played as a cornerback for Western Carolina from 2003 to 2006. Following his college career, he went on to play for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2007 to 2008.
