USC Trojans Football Roster
The USC Trojans football team represents the University of Southern California as a member of the Big Ten Conference. USC in its history has shaped eight Heisman Trophy winners and 531 NFL draft picks. They are crowned as the architect for producing the most number of Heisman winners by a University, only to trail by 1 behind Notre Dame on NFL picks. USC has so far made 55 bowl appearances, out of which 39 appearances were of New Year’s Six Bowls. They recorded a post-season second-highest winning of all-time with a record of 35-20, among colleges with 50 or more bowl appearances.
The Trojans previously played in the Pac-12 Conference from 2011 till 2023 last season, but now their collegiate football team has joined the Big Ten Conference in the 2024 season. During their successful season in the Pac-12 conference, the Trojans have won 17 national championships from NCAA-designated major selectors. USC also has won 39 conference championships, which are all in the Pac-12 Conferences or its earlier conferences. They will be looking to bounce back this new season, after their regular season record went 7-5 last year. Head coach Lincoln Riley, in his first season in 2022, registered the biggest one-season win turnaround in the franchise’s history. This new season, he will be bringing a roster worth winning titles.
Last season, the Trojans’ offense with Caleb Williams at the helm finished the year as football’s top 15 offenses in total yards, average yards-per-game, and points. This season, with their football roster, the offense will be looking more threats to any opponents. The USC Trojans are bringing back some key players in the roster for the new season. USC’s running back, Woody Marks, will be returning to the roster and will bring more experience to the roster. At the offensive line will be the USC center Jonah Monheim. This change in the roster came after the departure of former team captain, Justin Dedich. As projected, one of the key players in the 2024 roster for USC will be starting quarterback Miller Moss.
