
Travis Hunter is an American football player who concluded his junior year with the Colorado Buffaloes in 2024. Hunter started his football career at Collins Hill High School in Georgia and was selected as a consensus five-star recruit and the top recruit from the class of 2022. The end of his high school career led Travis Hunter to start his college football career with the Jackson State Tigers in 2022. His performance with the team earned him SWAC Freshman of the Year honors in 2022.
Travis Hunter decided to enter the transfer portal after the 2022 season, following the departure of head coach Deion Sanders. He followed his former head coach and joined the Colorado Buffaloes from the 2023 season. Since then, he has earned Second-team All-Pac 12 honors and Paul Hornung Award in the 2023 season.
