William ‘Will’ Johnson is an American footballer who plays for the Michigan Wolverines as a cornerback. He attended Grosse Pointe South High School. As a senior, he was an All-State selection, recording impressive stats that included 45 tackles, a sack, an interception, and 12 pass breakups (via the Michigan website). Offensively, he was just as formidable, amassing 1,302 all-purpose yards, which included 667 receiving yards from 42 receptions and six touchdowns. His performance earned him a five-star recruit status and recognition as the top player in Michigan by several recruiting services, including 247Sports and Rivals.

In three collegiate seasons with the Wolverines, Johnson has recorded 68 tackles with nine interceptions and three touchdowns. In December 2024, the cornerback decided to forego his senior year and declare for the 2025 NFL Draft.
