William Johnson is an American cornerback for the Michigan Wolverines football team. He went to the Grosse Pointe South High School before making the jump to play college football for the Michigan Wolverines. In February 2021, Johnson committed to Michigan, demonstrating his commitment to furthering his football career at the collegiate level. Will Johnson's most remarkable achievement is winning the National Championship with his team in 2023. He has also earned other accolades like Defensive MVP, and Freshman All-American throughout the first two seasons of his college football career.

In 2024 as a junior, Johnson recorded 14 tackles, two touchdowns and two interceptions. The junior cornerback decided to forego his final year of eligibility and entered the 2025 NFL Draft according to ESPN.
