MS Dhoni also has hold of an unmatched record of most number of wins as a captain in T20 Internationals. The stalwart player has captained India in 72 matches and has won 41 matches out of those.

The second player in the list is William Porterfield who has led Ireland to 26 wins in 56 matches. Darren Sammy comes third in the list with 27 wins in 47 matches, captaining West Indies.

Dhoni is also the first captain to win 150 T20 matches (includes T20 leagues). He achieved the feat when his IPL team CSK defeated SRH in IPL 2018 at the Wankhede.
