Old rivals Australia and England will clash in match number 17 of the ICC Men's 2024 T20 World Cup at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, on Saturday, June 8. The Group B match will get underway at 10:30 PM IST [1 PM local time].

Australia got their T20 World Cup campaign underway with a 39-run win over Oman in Barbados. Marcus Stoinis (67 off 36 & 3-19) came up with a brilliant all-round show for the Aussies. David Warner (56 off 51) scored a slow half-century, while Mitchell Starc, Nathan Ellis, and Adam Zampa claimed two wickets each.

England's opening World Cup clash against Scotland produced no result due to rain. Only 10 overs were possible due to rain in which the Scots dominated proceedings. Their openers added 90 runs as Michael Jones was unbeaten on 45 off 30 and George Munsey on 41 off 31.
