On Monday, June 24, 2024, Adamas Howrah Warriors and Srachi Rarh Tigers locked horns in the 26th match of the Bengal Pro T20 League 2024, while Sobisco Malda Smashers and Servotech Siliguri Strikers clashed in the 27th game.

Sobisco Smashers Malda defeated Servotech Siliguri Strikers and concluded first in the Bengal Pro T20 League 2024 points table with six wins in seven games.

Meanwhile, Murshidabad Kings and Rashmi Medinipur Wizards retained their second and third positions with four wins, respectively.

Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers also retained their fourth position having lost three out of their four games.

Adamas Howrah Warriors and Servotech Siliguri Strikers occupy the next two positions, each with eight and four points.

Srachi Rarh Tigers sit at the seventh spot, losing four out of six games, including the previous game against the Warriors. They will play their last league on Wednesday and hope to conclude their campaign on high.

Harbour Diamonds had the worst season with seven losses in as many games.

Malda Smashers Finishes at Top; Diamonds Fail to Find Success Throughout Tournament

With half-centuries from Saksham Chaudhary and Pankaj Shaw backed by Abhishek Das’ 47, Adamas Howrah Warriors racked up a massive 216-run target for Srachi Rarh Tigers. Sandipan Das led the Tigers with a three-wicket haul while skipper Shahbaz Ahmed picked up two wickets.

In reply, Arindam Ghosh (58) and Sumanta Gupta 40(18) had set the tone for Rarh Tigers in the top order. Later, Shahbaz smacked an outstanding knock of 85 runs from 48 balls, featuring eight fours and four sixes. However, it went in vain as they fell short by one run.

Raju Haldar and Sujit Kumar Yadav had taken two wickets for the Warriors.

In the second game, Servotech Siliguri Strikers batted first and posted a total of 188 runs for the loss of six wickets. Tarun Godara’s 78, Vikas Singh’s 30, and skipper Ritwik Chowdhury’s 26 in the top order played a major role in setting the target. Geet Puri and Writtick Chatterjee claimed two wickets each for the Smashers.

In reply, Sobisco Malda Smashers captain Chatterjee struck an excellent 59-run knock off 37 balls. Akhil assisted him with a match-winning 56-run inning, comprising seven boundaries, and helped his side achieve the target with two balls to spare.
