Bhuvneshwar Kumar records most economical figures in T20 international cricket

In a stupendous bowling performance, Bhuvneshwar Kumar recorded the most economical figures in T20 Internationals in the World Twenty20 match against West Indies yesterday. His economy rate of 1.00 is the joint best in T20Is.

He conceded just 3 runs from 3 overs, troubling both Dwayne Smith and Chris Gayle, two of the most dangerous openers in cricket. Interestingly, 2 out of those 3 runs came from wides and only a single run was scored off Bhuvneshwar Kumar with the willow on Sunday.

Bhuvneshwar shares the record with Alex Cusack of Ireland. However, Alex Cusack did pick up two wickets in that performance against Kenya at Stromont in 2008.
