From just eight counties in 1890, the County Championship has expanded to 18 teams. Gloucestershire, Kent, Lancashire, Middlesex, Nottinghamshire, Surrey, Sussex and Yorkshire started as the eight teams and have since then joined by Derbyshire, Durham, Essex, Glamorgan, Hampshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Somerset, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
Yorkshire are the most successful County Championship side with 32 titles. Essex are the reigning Division One County Championship while Worcestershire won the Division Two title and were promoted to Division One for 2018.
Notts Outlaws are the reigning Vitality T20 Blast champions and they completed the white ball double by winning the Royal London One Day Cup.
