Yuvraj Singh's hopes of leading India to victory against Australia in the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 suffered a big blow as he got injured moments after he walked out to bat. The southpaw leaped in an attempt to guide the ball square on the leg side, however, he managed to twist his ankle while landing.

Yuvraj went down with pain and received some treatment from the physio. He was back on his feet soon after and hung in with Virat Kohli despite the pain. When things started to go out of hand , Yuvraj Singh sacrificed his wicket in order to allow a fresher MS Dhoni to come in and help Kohli in his cause.
