Harry Brook scored his maiden triple century in Tests for England against Pakistan in Multan on October 7, 2024. According to NDTV Sports, Brook smashed the fastest triple century by an English batter in Test cricket and the second-fastest in Test history, only behind Virender Sehwag.
Denis Compton
It was the second Test of the Pakistan tour to England in 1954. After a drawn first game, the two sides headed to Nottingham where Pakistan elected to bat first after winning the toss. After bowling the visitors for 157, England came in to bat and Denis Compton played the innings of his life, where he smashed 278 runs and helped his side to post 558/6 runs after which they declared their innings. England went on to win the match by an innings and129 runs which was also their first Test victory over Pakistan.
Zaheer Abbas
During the first Test of the 1971 series between the two sides, Pakistan opted to bat first where they scored a massive 608/7 before they declared their innings. Zaheer Abbas was the highlight, as he secured 274 runs which is the third-highest individual score in England vs Pakistan Test matches, as of January 2025.
Zak Crawley
Pakistan played against England in Southampton for the 3rd Test of the 2020 series where England won the toss and batted first. Zak Crawley came in at number 3 and hit a colossal 267 runs which helped England reach 583/8 (D) in their first innings. The match ended in a draw.
Alastair Cook
England and Pakistan met in the opening match of the 2015 series in UAE.
