Highest World T20 knockout chase

Andre Russell’s six sailed over deep mid-wicket and as the hosts were dumped out of the tournament, the West Indians celebrated a place in the final and the highest successful run chase in a T20 World Cup knockout match.

This was also the fourth highest run chase in any of the World T20 matches. The record chase overshadowed Mr. Cricket Mike Hussey’s effort against Pakistan in 2010 when he belted Saeed Ajmal for 20 runs in the first four deliveries of the final over where the Kangaroos chased down 192.
