Most Wickets in ODI World Cup History

ICC ODI World Cup is one of the most challenging tournaments for any bowler. The best batters in the world gather at one place to play and help their nation become world champions in the ICC ODI World Cup.

This mega event takes place once every four years. The bowlers have to prove themselves in the gap between the two World Cups and retain their place in the squad to represent their country at the grandest stage.

The pressure level is at the highest. All teams come with a lot of preparation for the World Cup. Hence, taking wickets consistently is not everyone’s cup of tea.

Quite a few bowlers, who did a match-winning job for their nation in bilateral series, failed to make an impact, when they played at the grand platform of ODI World Cups. At the same time, some bowlers managed to lift their game and performed magnificently in ODI World Cup matches.
