Netherlands can move up by one spot in the 2024 T20 World Cup points table today

The action at the T20 World Cup will head to Kingstown today (June 13) for the first time, where Bangladesh will take on the Netherlands. Both teams suffered a close defeat in their respective previous matches against South Africa.

The Proteas have six points in their account in Group D, and it seems likely that they will qualify for the Super 8s. The race to the second spot is still on, with Bangladesh and Netherlands being the top two contenders for that position. Bangladesh are in second position right now, but if they lose against the Netherlands, the Dutch team will overtake them in the Group D points table.
