United States of America (USA) faced India in the 25th match of the 2024 T20 World Cup on Wednesday, June 12, at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. India won the toss and elected to bowl.

USA started slowly, losing their first two wickets for just three runs. They managed just 18 runs in the power play. Only two batters managed to cross the 20-run mark for the United States. They scored 110 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Arshdeep Singh was the most successful bowler and took four wickets for nine runs in four overs.

India had a similar start as the USA and lost two early wickets in the form of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Rishabh Pant departed early as well after scoring 18 off 20 deliveries. Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube joined hands and added an unbeaten 72-run stand for the fourth wicket. Suryakumar scored 50* off 49 deliveries, while Dube made 31* off 35 deliveries. Arshdeep won the Player of the Match award for his bowling performance.

Andries Gous has moved to fifth place from seventh and has scored 102 runs in three matches at an average of 34.

Gerhard Erasmus has slipped to sixth place from fifth and has scored 101 runs in three outings at an average of 33.66.

Nicholas Kirton has slipped to seventh position from sixth and has 101 runs to his name in three innings at a strike rate of 140.27.

Marcus Stoinis is still in eighth place and has amassed 97 runs in two matches at a strike rate of 183.01.

Rishabh Pant has jumped to ninth place and has 96 runs to his name in three matches at an average of 48.

David Miller has slipped to 10th place from ninth and has amassed 94 runs in three innings at a strike rate of 98.94.
