Bengal Pro T20 League 2024 Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Murshidabad Kings vs Sobisco Smashers Malda (Updated) ft. Priyanshu Srivastav

The final of the Bengal Pro T20 League 2024 was played between the Murshidabad Kings and Sobisco Smashers Malda on Friday, June 28.

Murshidabad Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first. They restricted Sobisco Smashers Malda to just 116 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Ranjot Khaira (21) and Saurabh Singh (20) were their notable scorers in a low-scoring affair.

Dilshad Khan and Jeet Thakur were the pick of the bowlers for the Murshidabad Kings, claiming two wickets apiece. Sayed Irfan Aftab, Vikas Singh, and Toufik Mondal chipped in with a wicket each as well.

In reply, Murshidabad Kings got to 7 for no loss in 1.1 overs before rain interrupted the final. Eventually, the match had to be abandoned due to persistent rain and both teams were announced joint winners of the Bengal Pro T20 League 2024.

Priyanshu Gaurav Srivastav finished as the top run-getter of the Bengal Pro T20 League 2024. He retained his number-one spot with 345 runs from seven innings, averaging 86.25 with a strike-rate of 134.24.

Writtick Chatterjee, with 334 runs from nine innings and a strike rate of 139.17, also retained his second position in this list. Shahbaz Ahmed, with 297 runs from seven innings and a strike rate of 155.5, also remains in the third position.

Similarly, Arindam Ghosh with 224 runs from seven matches with a strike-rate of 108.21, remained in the fourth position in this list. With 215 runs, Abhishek Porel also retained his fifth position in the list of top run-scorers.

With 16 wickets from seven innings and an average of 9.38 retained his top and ended as the highest wicket-taker in the Bengal Pro T20 League 2024. Vaibhav Yadav with 15 wickets from seven innings and an economy rate of 7.07, remained in the second position in this list.

Saksham Chaudhary, also with 15 wickets from seven innings with an economy rate of 10.28, held on to his third position in this list. Geet Puri with 13 wickets from eight innings at an average of 15.54 also retained his position at number four.

Meanwhile, Nitin Verma with 12 wickets from seven matches with a strike-rate of 12, remained at number five. Akhil moved from the seventh to the sixth position with 12 wickets and an average of 16.
