The Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers beat the Servotech Siliguri Strikers in the 13th match of the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024 on Tuesday, June 18. Courtesy of their seven-wicket victory over the Servotech Siliguri Strikers, the Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers moved to the top of the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024.

They now have six points and a net run rate of +0.965. The Murshidabad Kueens, also with six points, slipped from first to second due to their net run rate of +0.682.

Shrachi Rarh Tigers have retained their third spot. The Tigers have four points and a positive net run rate of 0.136, which keeps them ahead of other teams tied on points.

With their second win, Harbour Diamonds moved two places up to the fourth position with a net run rate of -0.156. Sobisco Smashers Malda dropped a place to the fifth spot with four points and a net run rate of -0.659.

Rashmi Medinipur Wizards fell from fifth to sixth with two points while Adamas Howrah Warriors remain seventh after their loss.

Servotech Siliguri Strikers continue to have a horror run at the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024. With four defeats in a row, they are still at the bottom of the table with no points to show.

Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers put up a brilliant display with the ball in the 13th Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024 match. They restricted the Siliguri Strikers to 86/8. Bristi Maji (29), Samayita Adhikari (11), and skipper Priyanka Bala (29) were the only batters to cross double figures.

Mita Paul picked up three wickets while Ananya Halder and Priyosi Aich grabbed two each.

It was a comfortable chase for the Kolkata Tigers as they got over the line in just 14.5 overs with seven wickets to spare. Ipsita Mondal and Mamata Kisku remained unbeaten on 28 and 27, respectively. Snighda Bag claimed two wickets although her efforts were in vain.

The Kolkata Tigers also moved to the top of the points table with this convincing win. This was the Strikers’ fourth successive defeat as they continued to struggle to open their account.

In the 14th match, the Harbour Diamonds could only manage to score 100/7 in their 20 overs. Jhumia Khatun (20), Jhumpa Roy (19*), and Ratna Barman (18) were the notable contributors. Sushmita Ganguly led the charge with the ball for the Howrah Warriors, returning with figures of 3/19 from four overs.

Howrah Warriors, however, failed to chase the total down, eventually folding on 92/8. Jhumia Khatun bagged two wickets for the Diamonds while the rest of the bowlers chipped in as well.
