The Murshidabad Kueens beat the Adamas Howrah Warriors in the 23rd match of the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024. In the 24th match, the Sobisco Smashers Malda defeated the Harbour Diamonds comprehensively.

There is some movement in the points table. The Kueens are back to the top of the points table after grabbing their fifth win in six games. They have taken their points tally to 10 and go above Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers who have nine points in six games.

The Shrachi Rarh Tigers are placed third in the points table with eight points under their belt. The Sobisco Smashers Malda grabbed their third win of the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024. They have moved to the fourth spot after taking their points tally to six.

The Diamonds suffered their third loss of the competition and couldn’t add more to their five points. They have a net run rate of -0.065 and follow the Smashers. The Rashmi Medinipur Wizards also have five points and sit below the Diamonds with a net run rate of -0.095.

The Howrah Warriors lost their fourth game of the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024. They sit at the seventh position with four points under their belt. The Servotech Siliguri Strikers continue to languish at the bottom of the points table with only one point.


Murshidabad Kueens register their fifth win in the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024 to go to the top spot

The Murshidabad Kueens opted to bat first in the 23rd match of the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024. Ritika Pal top-scored with 29 for them as they posted 101 on the board. Adamas Howrah Warriors skipper Dhara Gujjar bowled beautifully and registered figures of 2/20.

In reply, Gujjar (47) and Shrabani Paul (37) put a solid 80-run stand for the second wicket but the other batters faltered. None of the other batters managed to get to double digits as they finished their innings on 91/8 to fall short by 10 runs.

Priyanka Sarkar and Shrayosi Aich picked up two wickets each for the Murshidabad Kueens. It was a remarkable comeback from the Kueens and they defended the total successfully to grab their fifth win in the competition and go to the top of the table.

The 24th match of the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024 was reduced to 16-overs per-side. The Sobisco Smashers Malda did a brilliant job of restricting the Harbour Diamonds to 58/7. It was a collective effort from their bowlers. Shreya Karar grabbed two scalps for the Smashers.

Chasing a modest total, Soumashree Bhowmik gave a solid start for the Smashers. He scored 23 before getting retired hurt. Iti Sarkar (13*) and Piyali Ghosh (10*) remained unbeaten and took their side across the line in the 15th over with eight wickets in hand.
