Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Murshidabad Kueens vs Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers (Updated) ft. Mitali Paul

On Friday, June 28, 2024, the Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers defeated Murshidabad Kueens in the Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024 final. Kueens won the toss and opted to field first. With Mitali Paul’s 24, Ipsita Mondal’s unbeaten 37-run knock backed by handy contributions from other batters, Tigers had posted 110/5. Priyanka Sarkar took two wickets for the Kueens while Sneha Gupta, Shrayoshi Aich and Sandipta Patra picked up one each.

In reply, Sandipta Patra top-scored 45-run-a-ball, Ritika Pal added 15 and Sarkar scored 22 not out off 19. However, the Tigers bowled effectively and restricted Murshidabad Kueens to 105/8. Ariktha Manna, Mitali Paul and Mamata Kisku chipped in with two wickets apiece while Aruna Burman took one.

Dhara Gujjar finished as the top run-getter of the Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024. She smashed 22 runs in seven innings at an impressive average of 36.83.

Mitali Paul concluded second with 216 runs in nine games while her teammate Tithi Das finished third, scoring 186 runs at a strike rate of 94.42.

Ankita Chakraborty and Sandipta Patra ended in the next two positions with 172 and 163 runs, averaging 24.57 and 23.29, respectively. Similarly, with an average of 20.38, Kashish Agarwal (163) dropped to the sixth position.

Mitali Paul of Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers finished as the most wicket-taker of the T20 tournament. She bagged 13 wickets at an excellent average of 9.69 and an economy of 4.67.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Sarkar of Murshidabad Kueens also picked up 13 wickets at an impressive economy of 4.26 and finished second in the leaderboard.

Piyali Ghosh of Sobisco Smashers Malda concluded as the third-highest wicket-taker with 12 wickets.

Priyanka Prasad and Shrayoshi Aich finished fourth and fifth, respectively, having bagged 11 wickets each.
