[In Pictures] Varun Chakravarthy visits Dakshineswar Kali Temple with family before IPL 2024 playoffs

Varun Chakravarthy posted a social media update about his family visit to Dakshineswar Kali Temple in Kolkata. Apart from the temple, Chakravarthy also visited Belur Math, Hoogly River and Howrah Bridge with his wife Neha Khedekar and their son.

Chakravarthy went on a family trip around the city of Kolkata. In the caption of his Instagram post, the KKR spinner mentioned that Kolkata is truly the city of joy as he bid goodbye to the city.

Kolkata Knight Riders played their final home game of IPL 2024 against Mumbai Indians at the Eden Gardens on May 11. It looks like Varun Chakravarthy went on a family trip before that game. Captioning his carousel post, Varun wrote on Instagram:

"A Family day out !!! ❤️❤️💜@neha.khedekar. Wonderful to have experienced Kolkata to its fullest glory. Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Belur math, Hoogly river, Howrah bridge. Along with some Namak toast and matka chai. Had a lovely time in Kolkata this year. Truly a city of joy❤️!!! Until next time."

Varun Chakravarthy won the Man of the Match award in Kolkata Knight Riders' final home game of IPL 2024

Varun Chakravarthy was the Player of the Match in KKR's final home game of the season against Mumbai Indians. He picked up the wickets of Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma while conceding 17 runs in four overs to help Kolkata defend a 158-run target in a rain-curtailed game.

KKR are confirmed to finish first in the IPL 2024 points table irrespective of what happens in their final league game against Rajasthan Royals. It will be interesting to see if Kolkata can end their league stage on a winning note on Sunday.
